Opulo the Avaricious

Opulo the Avaricious is a construct made of coins, jewels and dollar bills. Much like its design would suggest, Opulo and its attacks are themed around the ingame currency.

Gimmick[]

Opulo will generate money when damaged and with many of its attacks. A greedy Player may be inclined to take advantage of this, but this is where Opulo's true power shows. Its stats increase as the Player's currency count increases, though it will only count the money picked up from Opulo as to not screw over Player's who had been saving up and happened to run into this freakshow. Once a certain amount of cash has been stolen from Opulo, it will die, though it cannot take damage through weaponry or other conventional sources.

Coinshot[]

Fires a large coin at the Player which ricochets off of surfaces. It will bounce more times and travel quicker as the Player takes more of Opulo's money. Upon bouncing its last bounce, the large coin will explode into a light shower of coins for your taking.

Money Fissure[]

Pillars of coins erupt from fissures in the ground, telegraphed by a red glow from deep below. More pillars will erupt more rapidly as Opulo grows more enraged by the Player's money snatching. Coins for your taking may burst from the earth alongside the deadly pillars.

Cash Wall[]

Fires a large, nonviolent dollar bill that simply and peacefully obstructs the Player's motion so that Opulo may disembowel them. It will self-destruct after a short time, but can be prematurely destroyed with enough firepower. When destroyed, via either method, it will burst into a small pile of coins.
