The Lavanians are a race of aerial Lesser Enemies, native to The Basalt, living alongside the Magmonians.
They constantly drip molten lava, much to the dismay of anything directly below it, which can injure and/or kill the Player.
They also like to swoop down, as to meet their meat head-on, which gives anyone who wishes to retaliate ample time to melee them. They will fall to the ground for a short time when hit by melee weapons, to further increase the viability of hand-to-hand combat with a flaming bird.
